Identity development, icons, and prototyping for a sustainable commuting app
Sproute is a navigational app that encourages eco-friendly forms of transit by providing a fun, welcoming community for commuters to connect and compete to reduce their carbon footprint. The app gamifies environmentally conscious transportation options by allowing users to earn points, collect badges, and compete for the highest spot on the leaderboards.
I helped develop many of the community and gamification features of the app, and contributed to the overall identity system, including a suite of icons and badges users can collect and compete for. The aim was to build a brand that felt modern and supported healthy competition through stark visuals and iconography.
